Our own software
lidawake
A small macOS menu-bar app that keeps a Mac awake with the lid closed — so the external monitor keeps working in clamshell mode, or an overnight job finishes with the laptop shut. Built to be left alone: it watches heat and battery, stops on its own when nothing has been happening, and a background helper restores normal sleep even if the app dies.
